WEEK 1 - DAY 3

The Power of His Presence

VERSE

Exodus 33:14–16
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.  How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us?  What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

THOUGHT

When God called Moses to lead the Israelites, Moses knew that nothing mattered more than God’s presence going with them. Without it, they would be no different from any other people. With it, they had everything they needed.

The same is true for us. A life with God is not built on religious activity or moral effort but on walking in His presence daily. His presence changes how we respond to challenges, how we love others, and how we see ourselves. It brings peace in chaos, clarity in confusion, and strength in weakness.

This presence is not reserved for special moments in church. It is available in the quiet of your home, on your commute, and in the middle of your workday. The more we learn to recognize and value His presence, the more our lives begin to reflect His glory.

REFLECT

Do I desire God’s presence more than I desire His blessings?
How can I become more aware of His presence throughout my day?

PRAYER

Lord, if Your presence does not go with me, I do not want to move. Let me walk closely with You today and be changed by Your nearness.
